One of Italy's Greatest grapes producing wines that can rival the best in the world. This may be a more humble version but you get a lot of bang for your buck. Hints of rose and dried leaves mingle with ripe cherry, redcurrant and blueberry before a dry and savoury note adds weight and complexity. Worth trying this if your in the mood for something a bit more grown up without blowing the budget.
