We don't see a lot of Durif and when we do it's usually Petit Syrah (same grape different name) often a bit of a hooligan this one has been tamed and given a bit of a polish. Still a bit dark and brooding it could happily hide in the dark for another five years but is drinking very well right now. Venison burgers or wild boar sausage something with a bit of oomph and a glass of this is what winter was made for.
