A pretty complex, dark red wine, especially if given time to breathe for a couple of hours after opening. Immediate, just after opening, you get lots of dark fruit and peppery spice notes, however with more air, the tight tannins relax giving way to extra notes of liquorice, red berries and herbs. Almost like two different wines for the price of one, spend on how long you tuck in after opening!
