French know how and South African sunshine means this Syrah over delivers on quality at this price. If this was from the Rhone you'd expect to pay at least twice the price for something with this balance of ripe fruit and sweet soft tannins. Thank goodness then that this is from South Africa where wine still needs to earn its reputation in the glass.
