Made in a very respectful and careful manner this is a wine that offers more fruit than you can shake a stick at. Montepulciano is often a workhorse and is rarely given much extra love and care here though it gets to stretch it's legs and show off what it can really do. Aromas of violets and some spices are supported by potent fresh red summer berry to give a wine that feels more expensive than it actually is.
