We tasted this after a series of expensive and mildly disappointing wines from Northern Rhone estates and were wowed by the boldness and balance of this wine while retaining that easy drinking generosity that Rhone wines are famed for. For a very reasonable price this is a confident and comforting wine which could easily become a regular in your wine rack. Brambley and lush on the palate with a hint of tannin and a flavour that lingers this is a proper Rhone ranger... Hi ho silver!!
